Who is responsible
Blaise Muhune operates Shipnaro and is the person responsible for this information. The product is independent of Andrews University. Privacy questions, correction requests, and deletion requests can go to muyumba@andrews.edu. A postal address is available from that same address.
Account
Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, a Google service. An email account stores the email address and a password credential with Firebase. Shipnaro does not keep a copy of the password. Google sign-in uses the name, email, and profile photo Google provides for that account. When you accept the current terms, Shipnaro stores that version, the privacy version, the confirmation that you are 18 or older, and the time. Those records stay until the account is deleted.
Projects
Project records stay in Cloud Firestore, a Google service, under the account that created them. That includes the project name, starting point, intake, clarification, plan versions, design notes, task results, reviews, human tasks, assessment, launch checks, connection status, and handoff. Another person cannot open your project by URL. A confirmed change saves a new draft on the site. That step does not send the project text to a model. When you paste a brief from another chat, or ask for a stack suggestion, Shipnaro sends the pasted text, or the idea, audience, and integrations from your intake, to OpenAI. The questions on the intake page work without that step.
Evidence files
Screenshots you attach to a launch check are stored privately in Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, in a path limited to that project. Only the signed-in owner can open them through Shipnaro. The export lists those files by path and does not include the image itself. Notes and test output are stored as text on the check.
Billing
Stripe hosts checkout and the billing portal. Shipnaro stores a Stripe customer id for the account and billing events needed to record a paid pass and to keep tax or dispute records. Card numbers stay with Stripe. Checkout can send your billing address to Stripe so Stripe can calculate tax. A return from Checkout does not itself grant a pass. The pass is recorded after Stripe sends a verified paid event. Billing events can remain after a project or the account is deleted.
Your coding tool
Shipnaro does not receive the private conversation from Cursor or another coding tool. An authorized connection can read and write the project records the tools allow, for the projects you select. The grant and its tokens are stored for that connection. The handoff is text you can copy into a fresh chat. You pay that tool on its own account.
Messages about a waiting step
When a review or a manual step is waiting, Shipnaro emails the address on the account once for that step. The message names the project and links to it. It does not include the plan text. Resend sends that message. A later change to the same step can send another message. Deleting the account removes the record of which step was already emailed.
Companies that process this
Google processes sign-in and Firestore. Microsoft stores evidence screenshots. OpenAI reads a pasted brief or a stack request. Stripe processes checkout, the billing portal, and tax calculation. Vercel hosts the website and runs the daily check for waiting steps. Resend sends the waiting-step email. Each company processes the information needed for that role. Project data is stored in the United States.
How long it is kept
Project records and evidence files are kept until you delete that project or the account. The acceptance record and the Firebase sign-in are kept until you delete the account. Billing events are kept for taxes or disputes. Server logs kept by the host follow that host's retention.
Browser storage
Firebase Authentication keeps the signed-in session in this browser so you can return to your projects. Shipnaro does not run an advertising tracker and does not sell personal information.
Your requests
You can download a project export from the account page. You can delete one project from the project list or the account page. You can delete the account, which removes the sign-in and the projects on it. Email muyumba@andrews.edu to correct personal information or to ask what is stored. The Stripe customer and billing events kept for taxes or disputes can remain.
